Coat & shedding path

For the coat that’s on everything but the dog

The lint roller by the door. The car seat that grew fur. Shedding is normal — but a dull, flaky coat that sheds heavily year-round is often a skin-nutrition story, and that part you can support.

Coat quality is a skin story

A dog’s coat is built by the skin underneath it. EPA and DHA are structural players in skin cell membranes and coat oil production — which is why coat change is usually the first thing owners notice from consistent omega-3 supplementation. Our blend lists 750mg EPA+DHA per teaspoon on the label so you can dose to your dog’s weight instead of guessing from a vague “fish oil” number.

Honest expectations

What the first three months look like

Weeks 1–2No visible change yet — the skin renews on its own schedule.
Weeks 4–6Softer texture and a bit more shine are the typical first signs.
Weeks 8–12Judge shedding volume here, across a full coat cycle, not a single week.
What this won’t do: Fish oil will not stop seasonal coat blows — double-coated dogs shed; that is physics, not deficiency. And sudden patchy hair loss, bald spots, or irritated skin under the fur is a vet conversation first. For grooming-side help, pair nutrition with routine brushing.
